'I was so concerned about the fact that my local council allocated my son to a school that was none of the 6 preferences I made. I felt helpless and discouraged but Empowerment Focused was truly a God send. They put my mind at ease and helped me through the process of appeal which was very daunting on my own. Had it not been for their knowledge, expertise and professionalism I would have been lost. I am now happy to say that although I had an appeal hearing date arranged, the school that I really wanted my son to attend offered him a place. Thank you so much for your very vital role in Empowering me as a parent to take back the authority over my son's education'.

I have had the pleasure of working with Empowerment Focused for a number of years where they have literally changed the lives of the numerous families they have touched. The support, kindness and compassion they give is second to none.
Being headhunted by a London Local Authority informs you that Empowerment are highly commended and competent at what they do. Their knowledge of the systems enabled them to assist families through the process of different admissions and secondary transfers, leaving the families at ease throughout. The most rewarding moments I witnessed was the communications. They are able to speak to their clients about policies and procedures on a level where their message is properly understood and where the clients do not feel they are looked down upon.
There was no case too big or too small for them as every family mattered. Their wealth of experience meant they were able to go to panel and win appeals. At the heart of everything they do is the children and this permeates throughout the whole of their practice.
Put your trust in Empowerment Focused because I know I do!

I am writing to thank Empowerment Focused for their support and help over the years.
By working in partnership with the community workers; to date 96 young people from Lewisham Primary Schools have achieved Nationally Recognised Qualifications in Sailing and over 12 young people have signed up as volunteers at The AHOY Centre.
The aim of working with the schools and creating a relationship like the one we have established has helped the young people to engage in a community based activity and give them an opportunity to; participate in a challenging sport, gain a national recognised qualification, become volunteers and assist and help others in the community.
The AHOY would like to thank you for all your help; being so willing to help and organise the sailing curriculum courses has allowed so many young people to be given the opportunity to gain access to sailing and volunteering.

'Daunted and stressed over facing an appeal for my daughters reception school place I was extremely pleased and relieved to seek advice and support from Empowerment Focused.
From the start I was reassured and guided step by step through the whole process making the situation much less stressful by making me fully aware of what was entailed ensuring a confusing process was fully understandable ensuring I knew exactly where I stood, what I needed to do and how things would proceed on the appeal day.
From start to finish I couldn't fault their communication, knowledge, dedication, passion and delivery. Thanks to this wonderful organisation my daughter can now embark on her education in the school of my preference with her Sibling and get the best start possible as none of this would have been possible without the advice and support of Empowerment Focused'.
